No 14.5: COVER TO COVER: I'm On Fire

ImOnFireSingleCover

Thanks for stopping by. Welcome to Cover to Cover. This time we get down to basics. 5 covers of Bruce Springsteen’s 1985 classic I’m On Fire. Enjoy.
I’m On Fire, written by Bruce Springsteen, the fourth single released from his massively successful album Born in the U.S.A.. It’s been covered by every two bit band with a guitar but I’ve selected a few that break the mold and/or perfect it. I think you’ll like it. Merci.

No 14: Peter Sieper & Jim Kim: Weekend At Murphy's!!

Eddie-Murphy-Party-All-The-Tim-293887

This week Wildman Jim Kim stops by with Peter Sieper. They brought by their soundtrack to a party at Eddie Murphy’s house in 1987.

I have to admit, when I asked Jim and Peter to come by I had no idea what to expect or what I was getting myself into. I certainly didn’t expect this much cursing but to quote a friend of mine from after the show: “You invited Jim and DIDN’T expect a mountain of swears?”

Considering how small he is Jim is a hard man to keep under control. I think I spend most of this episode staring in amazement. At some point I have to explain to Jim what he’s DOING here. I was blown away.

Officially the strangest episode to date. Awesome fun and I think the most no stop party jam mix we’ve had here at EA. Enjoy!
